Route every request by domain.
Hide your IP where it matters — save proxy quota where it doesn't.
BypassData is a free, self-hosted gateway that decides — per domain, per port, per rule — what goes direct and what goes through your proxies. One binary. Your server. No cloud, no telemetry.
Everything you need to route traffic on your terms
Fine-grained control over what leaves your network directly and what goes through a proxy — all from one panel.
Domain-based routing
Keep a bypass list for domains that go direct, or a proxy list for the ones that must go through an upstream. You decide the policy, per domain.
Never-bypass guard
Mark domains that must never leak your real IP. The guard is evaluated first, before any other rule — so a sensitive host can never accidentally go direct.
Auto-bypass on load
Watch live bandwidth and automatically shift heavy traffic to a proxy pool when it crosses a threshold — sparing your quota for what actually needs it.
500+ listening ports
Run hundreds of proxy ports from a single instance, each with its own identity and routing — ideal for isolating clients, tasks, or sessions.
Per-port authentication
Lock each port with IP whitelisting, username/password, or both together. No port has to be open — and the panel warns you loudly if one ever is.
Live traffic & stats
See per-port throughput, direct-vs-proxy ratios, and connection activity in real time — so you always know exactly where your traffic is going.
Encrypted & audited
Secrets are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, the admin login is bcrypt-hashed, and every sensitive change is written to an audit log.
Built-in control panel
A modern web panel ships inside the binary — nothing else to install. Manage ports, rules, and pools from your browser over a local, encrypted connection.
From client to the right exit, in four steps
BypassData sits between your clients and your upstream proxies, making the routing decision on every connection.
Client connects
Your app or device points at one of BypassData's proxy ports and authenticates with the credentials you set for it.
Rules decide
The never-bypass guard runs first, then your domain rules and live-load logic decide: direct, or through a proxy.
Traffic is routed
Direct traffic leaves from your server's own IP; proxied traffic is handed to the upstream or resource pool you assigned.
You watch it live
Throughput, direct-vs-proxy split, and audit events stream to the panel so nothing about your routing is a mystery.
Private by design, on hardware you control
BypassData is self-hosted. Your rules, credentials, and traffic never leave your server for a third party.
Encrypted at rest
Sensitive settings are sealed with AES-256-GCM using a key kept on your machine. The admin password is stored only as a bcrypt hash.
No open relays by default
Every port expects authentication. Leaving one fully open is an explicit choice the panel warns against — not something that happens by accident.
Local-only admin panel
The panel is only accessible from the server itself by default and is never exposed to the internet. Reach it safely from your laptop over an SSH tunnel.
Audit log & no telemetry
Every sensitive change is recorded to an audit log you can review. BypassData phones home to no one — there is no telemetry, ever.
Start with the Manager — or install by hand
Download the Manager, press Start, and it fetches and runs everything for you. Prefer the command line? Install directly instead.
BypassData Manager
RecommendedDownload one app and press Start. The Manager fetches the engine, verifies it, and stores everything tidily in one fixed folder — then runs and configures BypassData for you. Manage a Windows PC or a Linux VPS from the same app.
- Windows & Linux from one app
- Auto-downloads & verifies the engine
- Everything in one tidy fixed folder
Windows 10/11 · 64-bit · v1.4.0 · 10.8 MB
Prefer to install by hand?
Skip the Manager and run BypassData directly — the fallback path, on Windows or Linux.
Linux
Download the release bundle, then run the installer as root. It sets up a systemd service, creates the admin account, and keeps the panel only accessible from the server itself.
$ sudo ./bypassdata-*/deploy/install.sh
Windows
Download the archive and extract it anywhere. Run the executable and open the control panel in your browser — no installer, no dependencies.
> .\bypassdata-windows-amd64-v1.4.3\bin\bypassdata.exe
Both builds are 64-bit (amd64). The Linux installer runs BypassData as a hardened systemd service under its own user.
Completely free. Runs entirely on your server.
No accounts, no subscriptions, no per-seat pricing, no data leaving your machine. BypassData is a tool you own — install it and it's yours.
