The short version
BypassData contains no telemetry. It does not phone home, does not send usage data, and has no analytics built in. Everything it stores — rules, credentials, logs — lives on the server you run it on and nowhere else.
The software
When you run BypassData, it processes your traffic locally to route it. Configuration and secrets are stored on your own machine (secrets encrypted at rest), and an audit log of sensitive changes is kept locally for you. None of this is transmitted to the project or any third party. The only external connections BypassData makes are to the upstream proxies and destinations you configure. When you explicitly click "Check for updates" in the control panel, the software makes a single request to bypassdata.com to fetch the update manifest. No personal or usage data is sent in that request.
This website
This website is a static informational site. It does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information. If it is served through a standard web host or CDN, that provider may keep basic server logs (such as IP address and requested file) for security and operational purposes; those logs are governed by the host’s own policy. We do not run advertising or third-party trackers on this site.
